About us
The Judy Heumann Academy is an inclusive learning center. Our core program specializes in functional academics for students of all abilities, including those with moderate to high needs due to various disabilities. With a comfortable open concept environment for our students, no student is ever alone and all are able to move freely through each learning space in clear view of the teacher and aides. We provide social skills training, activity of daily living training, and tutoring services at our learning center. The Judy Heumann Academy works closely with family and caregivers to put together a workable plan for each student. Kindness, compassion, and accommodation is core to the pedagogy of The Judy Heumann Academy, always being mindful of the notion that people with disabilities are human.

The mission of The Judy Heumann Academy is to provide an alternative educational program for students who struggle in traditional school settings.

Our Learning center is located in downtown Hebron Indiana. It is an open concept school designed to keep all kids in eyesight of teachers and aides, while also encouraging social contact with peers.

We have built a program that starts with inclusivity so that all of our students can learn to their ability, alongside their peers.
